ANNUAL MEETING AND SOCIAL:
Thursday, January 26th from 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Plaza Grill 780 8th Street on the 2nd floor of the Jacoby
Storehouse on the Arcata Plaza.
The purpose of the meeting is to elect the Society’s new
officers, receive the annual reports of the Society and
discuss the proposed activities for 2012. The tentative
calendar will be available at the meeting.
This is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow
woodworkers, to share stories and ideas, and renew old
friendships.
Bring suggestions for workshops or monthly meetings, ideas
for other projects you would like the society to incorporate
and projects/supplies you would like to share with your
fellow woodworkers.
The society will provide appetizers beginning at 5:30. In
the past, many participants have also ordered dinner to
enjoy during the meeting. The official meeting will begin at
6:30 PM.
Annual membership dues for 2012 are now due. Bring to the
meeting or mail your dues to the HWS now. Only $25 per
household! Membership forms were mailed to everyone with the
January BluePrint (our newsletter). We'll have more forms at
the meeting for your convenience.
